disappointed adj. to feel let down because expectations weren't met.
Sometimes people don't meet up with your expectations. Then you may start to ponder, did you hope too much? Did you have too much faith? Or did you set an expectation too high for them to reach? Or probably you aren't as important as you think you are to them.
